Standards, testing and certification are the basis for compliance of ceiling and partition materials. Technical bids, procurement contracts and on-site acceptance should reference the same standard version and test items to avoid inconsistencies between reports and supplies.

1. Material standards

Panels, keels, filling materials and auxiliary materials comply with corresponding product standards respectively. Procurement documents should indicate the material, specifications, thickness, galvanized layer, density, combustion performance and environmental protection requirements.

2. Fire prevention and acoustic testing

The fire protection report should cover the system construction, fire resistance limit and node sealing, and the acoustic report should indicate the NRC, installation method, plate thickness and back cavity conditions. Material reports are not a substitute for system reports.

3. Environmental protection and harmful substances

Check for indicators such as formaldehyde, VOCs, asbestos and fiber shedding, especially in hospitals, schools and children’s spaces. The report should be within the validity period and consistent with the model and batch of the bid product.

4. Report consistency

• Check the standard number, testing agency and report validity period.
• Check that the product name, model number, thickness and construction are consistent.
• Keep original documents, QR codes and official website query records.
• If the supply batch is inconsistent with the sealed sample, re-inspect it in time.

5. Bidding and Acceptance Checklist

• Establish an index of material certificates and test reports.
• Respond to bidding technical parameters item by item.
• On-site random inspection of specifications, thickness, galvanized layer and appearance.
• Keep records of sampling, re-inspection and acceptance.

The value of standard certification lies in forming a complete chain of evidence. Only when materials, reports, samples and on-site construction correspond to each other can the project pass review and acceptance smoothly.
